Summary Description:
Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Live-In Staff will provide three to four overnight shifts per week at the residence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Each week, the Live-In Staff shall perform:
1. Three (3) to four (4) “sleepover” shifts at the residence, each consisting of the performance of all necessary supervision of the individuals between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
2. Three (3) to four (4) “morning wakeup” shifts following the sleepover at the residence, each consisting of the performance of necessary care, services (including transportation), and supervision of the individuals between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (unless transporting individuals to 10:00 a.m.)
3. The Price Center may reasonably request additional services consisting generally of the care and supervision of individuals.
Requirements:
Certification in First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration (MAP). Possession of a valid Driver’s license and a good driving record. Ability to interact with individuals, staff, and families in a professional manner. Ability to work successfully as a member of a program team. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to lift and support body weight of any program individual with assistance of another employee.
Preference:
Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, work experience in a community setting.
Compensation:
A private room in the residential home, rent-free. In addition, private staff bathing facilities, and access to kitchen, and public living space.
Compensated at an hourly rate of $10.75 for direct care hours. Not a benefits-eligible position.
