Eze Castle Software (ECS), A BNY ConvergEx Group Company, is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the Technical Writing.
ECS is seeking an experienced <u>Technical Writer</u> to assist in the documentation of a robust suite of financial software applications for trade order management. The successful candidate will work in an energized environment with a team of dynamic individuals who are responsible for releasing and distributing top-quality products.
In this role, you will be a member of a small team in our <st1:place><st1:city>Boston</st1:city></st1:place> headquarters, charged with creating and maintaining both internal and client documentation for the complete line of ECS products. Examples of documentation include Release Notes, online Help, and installation guides.
This position requires excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to articulate information clearly. Ability to bring new ideas to the table is a must. Candidate should be task-oriented and have experience planning and executing both short and long-term goals.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field
0-3 years of technical writing experience
Excellent writing skills and knowledge of industry standards
Experience using RoboHelp Office
Experience using Adobe PhotoShop, Corel Paint Shop Pro, or other graphics application
Basic understanding of HTML
Ability to learn, adapt, and excel in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to deliver quality documentation on schedule
Preferred:
Knowledge of financial industry or order management systems
Familiarity with SQL
Experience using Visio
