Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is seeking an attorney to join the in-house legal department in its New England corporate headquarters located in Waltham, Massachusetts. The legal department provides a full range of legal services in support of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s New England real estate brokerage operation. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about legal requirements related to real estate brokerage and be able to counsel staff on real estate related matters; be able to analyze, assess and respond to claims; be able to represent the company in legal and regulatory agency proceedings and be able to handle various legal projects that may arise from time to time.



Qualifications: Must be member of Massachusetts Bar with 2-5 years experience in litigation and real estate conveyancing; must possess strong negotiation skills and excellent written/oral communication skills; must be resourceful, detail oriented, self-motivated and capable of working independently with a minimum of supervision in a fast paced environment. Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer software and functions.
