Jobs for the Environment.
Right now we are working to stop global warming. This is undoubtedly the most pressing issue our generation faces. The good news is that we already have the technology to cut global warming pollution from cars and power plants. So, Environment Massachusetts is working to pass legislation that would make our state a leader in stopping global warming.
We know we can make a difference.
This spring Environment Massachusetts was successful in convincing our governor to allocate an additional $9.6 million to improve our parks and forests from the Berkshires to Cape Cod. This will help insure that these beautiful places will be able to be enjoyed by Massachusetts residents generations from now.
We need your help.
Big polluters have already
spent millions to convince our leaders to ignore the environment. We don't
have that kind of money to buy politicians in Massachusetts, so instead,
we are hiring staff to take the message to the people, in communities
across the state, and build the grassroots people power it takes to make
our politicians listen to us.
