Field Representative – Medical Communications - Full Time - (Boston area)



This is a unique position requiring a combination of sales/marketing and customer service skills. We are looking for someone with a medical background!



The innovative leader in providing timely, relevant medical information to the nation’s practicing physicians has an immediate need for a full-time representative in the Boston area. The company is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.



You will be our on-site representative at area hospitals and physician organizations. You will be responsible for a number of related functions involving marketing, business development and customer service to our users.



Our ideal candidate has some professional or educational background in healthcare or medicine and is highly driven, dependable, organized and personable.



Primary job functions will be:



• Drive programs and extend relationships within healthcare institutions

• Attend regular events at various institutions to promote our service and oversee capturing of audio and video content

• Implement marketing programs within institutions to deploy to additional users

• Manage relationship and delivery with physician content contributors

• Identify new business opportunities within institutions;

• Provide field-based customer support for our physician subscribers



The successful candidate should:



• (highly desirable) have some educational or professional experience in healthcare and be familiar with key medical institutions in the Boston area;

• have strong account management and customer service skills

• be extremely professional, highly organized, very thorough and dependable

• be able to network within institutions to find additional opportunities

• be able to act as the company’s representative for any unforeseen requirements as necessary

• be able to learn basic audio and video recording

• have their own transportation (we may be able to work around this for highly qualified individuals);

• be fluent with Windows or Mac computers and standard applications



Our ideal candidate may currently be working as a hospital-based representative for pharmaceuticals, services or supplies.



Compensation:



compensation depending on experience with bonus incentives for attainment of specific targets, and reimbursement for approved expenses.
