Software QA Engineer





Rapidly growing technology company in Maynard, MA looking for experienced, highly motivated QA Engineer. In addition to excellent QA skills, you must have good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently as well as in a group and a demonstrable history of success.





Primary Duties





* Developing, implementing, and documenting test cases and feature test plans based on product requirements


Identifying, logging, and tracking issues through to resolution,


Performing problem analysis to determine if a valid bug exists


* Communicate with developers on defects and enhancements, to analyze problems and improve testability


* Test the database for data integrity





The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:





* 0-3 years experience in software quality assurance methodologies and testing


* Skilled knowledge in testing concepts and tools


* Experience configuring and testing multi-tier web applications on Windows technologies (IIS, SQLServer, Windows 2000/2003)


* Demonstrated writing skills and attention to detail


* Ability to independently and in teams


* Experience with multiple web technologies such as XML, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
