Vinfen supports thousands of adolescents and adults with psychiatric, developmental, and behavioral disabilities at more than 250 sites with 2,000 employees in eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Outreach Worker’s needed to provide outreach, advocacy, and support to people with mental illness living in the community. This includes organizing, transportation, crisis intervention, and medication administration. In addition applicant will be responsible for the development and implementation of service plans by providing direct training and support for clients. Other tasks include organizing recreational and social activities, coordinating treatment with clinicians and DMH case management. Good writing and communication skills are required, as is a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and a willingness to use personal or agency vehicle in the course of employment.
