The North Shore Arc, a non-profit organization providing services to persons with developmental disabilities is seeking a Recreation Specialist. Have fun while working at the same time!
Some job duties include:
Lead and facilitate leisure and recreation programs for persons with developmental disabilities ages 5 and up at our facilities and in the community; Develop and organize activities for assigned programs; Supervise relief and volunteer staff; Drive a large passenger van during outings.
Candidates must be reliable, dependable with good attendance; Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required; Must have a valid driver’s license; Have a diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certified preferred but will train
20 hours per week (must be able to work Saturdays)
