Responsibilities
Candidates for this Software Engineer position should have excellent Object Oriented Design and Development skills. Successful candidates should have 3 years of programming experience in Java/Swing/XML/JNI/C++/Threads. The main responsibility is to design and develop complex Medical Image Visualization products. Specific responsibilities include designing, documenting, and implementing software applications and components; writing requirement and design specifications.
Requirements
•Java, C++, Swing/AWT, XML, JNI, Multi Threading
•Object oriented user interface design and development
•2D and 3D image processing experience a plus
•Knowledge of medical imaging, DICOM, and healthcare environment integrations is a plus
•Ability to design and implement high-quality software applications and components
•Ability to document requirement and design specifications
•Ability to work with team and alone with excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Self starter/quick learner with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Education
•B.S. in computer science, math or related field
