EP’s technology group is currently seeking a Project Manager.



The Project Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of a high volume of information and computer technology projects - including new database and interface products as well as internal technology projects. Includes assessment of business cases, ensuring alignment of stakeholders and project team members, development of project plans, and integration of resources and tasks throughout project lifecycles. Work with functional managers and resources to develop technical approaches/solutions to project execution and product implementation. Develop and communicate project plans using MS Project.



Conduct team meetings and management presentations. Act as facilitator among diverse personnel in solution-seeking or conflict-resolving situations. Drive decision-making at all levels of the organization as required to ensure project success. Ensure that all aspects of project cost, quality, timing and scope are in alignment with business requirements. As needed, provide significant contribution to product line rollout strategies based on technical considerations and impact to the business. Routinely provide input and contribution to improvement of the company’s RoadMAP process (methodology) for project management, as well as the Project Management department infrastructure and best practices library. Provide routine guidance/mentoring to other Project Management staff members. As needed, assist the Director, Project Management, in overall management of project workload, personnel and communications regarding the Project Management department.



Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline and proficiency in MS Project. The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to information and computer technology, as well as software and systems development. We are looking for someone with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or ability to attain. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience shaping and managing high-level, multi-disciplinary new product or technology projects from idea to implementation, including routine interaction with other senior personnel. Proven success in establishing collaborative relationships with diverse personnel across multiple business and technical disciplines is necessary. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of technical and business personnel in the company, including senior staff, is critical. Strong leadership skills, including advanced facilitation skills, team building, meeting management, setting and achieving clear objectives, and adaptability to a variety of business and technical situations in a fast-paced business environment is necessary.
