With its solution deployed at health care organizations throughout the United States, eScription is helping streamline processes, speed turnaround time, and save costs of medical transcription, without interfering with clinician workflow.





We are looking for recent college graduates with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.




Position Summary:


This person is responsible for the technical installation of EditScript in a variety of configurations and environments. He/she will also work on other programming projects as required.





Responsibilites:


•Install and configure software on eScription and customer servers.


•Work with customers to define their configuration specifications.


•Build interfaces between EditScript and customer systems.


•Diagnose / troubleshoot complex client installation problems that may include researching system environments, versioning, configuration, permissions and inter-operability with other software


•Replicate customer problems, test fixes and document solutions for use by the eScription Support Team


•Innovate and create client solutions and recommend changes to hardware and software architecture


•Contribute to substantial refinement of our installation procedure.


•Document suggested enhancements / changes to eScription software to improve performance and / or usefulness of the eScription products


Please note: Minimal travel required (eg. Three (1-2 day) trips per year).





In addition, the position may require:


•Programming of custom components for new requirements.


•Participation in quality assurance of new features.


•Contributing programming to the development group





Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


The ideal candidate will possess:


•Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience


•1+ year(s) of progressive computer related experience


•Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, XP, MS Office (in particular Word and Excel)


•Experience in the one or more of the following areas: SQL, Visual Basic, Java and/or C programming, telephony application user interface design.


•Some Linux command line usage and/or shell scripting


•Troubleshooting skills on multiple platforms


•Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with customers by telephone.


•A high degree of self-motivation.


•Ability to work autonomously with flexibility and excellent judgment


•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines


•Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team


•Healthcare or experience in the Medical Transcription field a plus
